And The Magic Number is…

March12

35. This is the number of chapters my book will have barring some tragedy where I wake up tomorrow and realize I was on drugs this afternoon when I decided to try and figure out how many chapters my book might have.

Chapter Last

March9

I wrote the last chapter of my book on the plane the other day. It’s only one sentence  so I can’t post any of it here but it’s a chapter none the less. I also finished chapters 8 and 9 on the planes. I’ll be putting up some stuff from those when I start to type them up, soon hopefully.

OMG! He’s So Cute!

February8

Favorite thing I wrote, uh, yesterday:

“He was right where she had wanted him to be but like the dog that finally caught the mail truck she was scooped up into the wheel, pulverized and left in a puddle on the road.”

Yeah...this doesn't have anything to do with the quote. It's just amazing.

Larry, Larry, Larry

February3

Favorite thing I wrote today:

“It was this second moment,  inside the new realm of possibility,  that Larry imagined it was possible that he was in a garage with two monsters that could (and wanted to) tear his limbs from his body while miraculously keeping his head alive to watch as they drank his liquefied organs in some morbid cocktail party for two.”

If My Book Was A Movie In 1930…

February2

The special effects would suck but the cast would kick ass…

Myrna Loy would be Etta Daring, all she needs is some glasses.

Myrna Loy as Etta Daring, all she needs are glasses.

Jean Harlow would be Ella Fox. I love this picture because Ella has to wear hats to hide her hair.

Favorite thing I wrote today:

“Dozens of scars covered his forearms, memories of the large orange cat his neighbors kept in their yard and the victim of his first kill at age seven.”
