What follows was a real time twitter review of the soft-core porn flick Cleavagefield:
Watching Cleavagefield on Cinemax…”enough with the shaky-cam Mr. Perv King”…hilarious.

The description is “naked and scared women run from a monster in Los Angeles.”…still waiting for the monster to show up.
None of these women really seem scared.
And the monster is a giant green cartoon dinosaur…

That’s when I stopped watching…inspired by this experience I have created a new post category called “Reviews of Movies I May or May Not Have Actually Watched”, it should be fun.

List of things I learned at my first Hollywood movie premiere:
1. Brandon Routh aka Superman looks like he smells fantastic.
2. Most of Hollywood does not sit through the credits of their own movies.
3. David Fincher is adorable and looks like he gives great hugs.
4. Bill Paxton is adorable and disturbed by large amounts of blood, bone breaking, and the beating of women.
5. This man is beautiful, a brilliant actor, a soon to be full blown movie star and very allusive.

6. I am officially a fan of Patrick Wilson.
7. It’s still funny that my plus one was some weird European guy in a Biggie Smalls t-shirt.
8. Jackie Earle Haley is a genius.
9. Damn it I didn’t get to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan!
10. You should go see this movie.

Oh and I almost forgot!…The Chinese Theater is breathtaking…go there.

“I told you to keep away from that radio. If that battery is dead it’ll have company.”
-Cody Jarrett, as played by James Cagney, as interpreted here by the angry puppy.

Good lord this is it when it comes to cuteness.

The special effects would suck but the cast would kick ass…

Myrna Loy as Etta Daring, all she needs are glasses.

Jean Harlow as Ella Fox. I love this picture because Ella has to wear hats to hide her hair.

So the day has come for the Oscar nominations. I’m crazy trying to figure out what happened to the nods for Revolutionary Road. I know a lot of my friends had been holding on to their dream that The Dark Knight might get nominated for best picture and it didn’t. I’m bummed about that but it was to be expected. On the other hand, Bruce Springsteen getting shut out for the song he wrote for The Wrestler is surprising and criminal.

A sight we will not be seeing at the Oscars this year...
On the bright side Heath Ledger got his nomination for The Dark Knight…To my hearts happiness Robert Downey Jr. was nominated for Tropic Thunder, a hope that I kept but never ever thought would happen… And the wonderful Kate Winslet though totally screwed on Revolutionary Road was nominated for best actress for The Reader…they should already have her name tapped into that bad boy.
www.oscar.com for the complete list of nominees.

If it’s true that a musical stage version of this amazing film is coming to Los Angeles I will literally poop my pants.
Also, I would like to again apologize to Andy Corvey for once making him watch this with me.
