1. First thing I saw when I turned on the tube was Kate Winslet’s dress. I knew she was going to win the minute I laid eyes on it. Same thing for Penelope Cruz, the dress screamed Oscar winner.

2. I loved the way they gave out the acting awards. Special stuff. I just wished they had done the same thing with the directors!

3. Heath Ledger’s parents made some beautiful babies. I miss him. Can’t wait for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

4. Kate Winslet’s speech was lovely and her dad looks like the coolest guy in England.

5. Did anyone else poop their pants when they saw clips of Sherlock Holmes during the credits? No? Okay.

6. The Barbara Walter’s special reaffirmed my love for Mickey Rourke and the Hugh Jackman lap dance was choice. The part where she was trying to get some dirt from the Jonas Brothers about their girlfriends was hilarious. All three of them answered the questions with “we’re just friends.” I don’t know if Barbara suffers from short term memory loss or she just wasn’t paying attention…Those boys wear promise rings and go on tour with their parents; they’re “just friends” with everyone.
