I’m crazy trying to figure out what happened to the nods for Revolutionary Road. I know a lot of my friends had been holding on to their dream that The Dark Knight might get nominated for best picture and it didn’t. I’m bummed about that but it was to be expected. On the other hand, Bruce Springsteen getting shut out for the song he wrote for The Wrestler is surprising and criminal.

On the bright side Heath Ledger got his nomination for The Dark Knight…To my hearts happiness Robert Downey Jr. was nominated for Tropic Thunder, a hope that I kept but never ever thought would happen… And the wonderful Kate Winslet though totally screwed on Revolutionary Road was nominated for best actress for The Reader…they should already have her name tapped into that bad boy.
