I hate typing. I’m on day three of a scheduled three days of typing chapters 15c-20 and I’m on written page four of chapter 16. I’ll finish today. I have to. I have to do other work this weekend. Work for money, the only thing I hate worse than typing right now. Think happy thoughts for my fingers!

So the book will have more than 35 chapters, just as I knew it eventually would. I outlined 16-20 today, will be writing those over the next five working days.
Paying work takes up too much of my time…Blarg.

Typing wasn’t so bad today. I finished 4, 5, and 6 and I’ll probably get a head start on 7 tonight. Any way I can get ahead on this week’s typing schedule will be awesome.
My laptop cooler and my new camera get here tomorrow!@(&#(@*^#@(*$ I can’t wait.
…4 more days till vacay….and 21 televisions.

Finished chapter 13 today. 14 tomorrow and 15 on Friday. Then a week of typing chapters 4 through 15 and another week of rewriting chapters 4 through 15 then on to 16 and everything after that.
Favorite thing I wrote today:
“Etta sat in a claw-foot tub full of water that wasn’t warm anymore.”

Again, has nothing to do with the post but I would like a puppy suit for my birthday, just gettin’ that info out there early.

35. This is the number of chapters my book will have barring some tragedy where I wake up tomorrow and realize I was on drugs this afternoon when I decided to try and figure out how many chapters my book might have.

I wrote the last chapter of my book on the plane the other day. It’s only one sentence so I can’t post any of it here but it’s a chapter none the less. I also finished chapters 8 and 9 on the planes. I’ll be putting up some stuff from those when I start to type them up, soon hopefully.

It’s Nannerpus!

Favorite thing I wrote yesterday:
“I guess what I’m saying is…can I have a rain-check? Can I even do that? Are there rain-checks on dates?”

Favorite thing I wrote, uh, yesterday:
“He was right where she had wanted him to be but like the dog that finally caught the mail truck she was scooped up into the wheel, pulverized and left in a puddle on the road.”

Yeah...this doesn't have anything to do with the quote. It's just amazing.

Favorite thing I wrote today:
“It was this second moment, inside the new realm of possibility, that Larry imagined it was possible that he was in a garage with two monsters that could (and wanted to) tear his limbs from his body while miraculously keeping his head alive to watch as they drank his liquefied organs in some morbid cocktail party for two.”

The special effects would suck but the cast would kick ass…

Myrna Loy as Etta Daring, all she needs are glasses.

Jean Harlow as Ella Fox. I love this picture because Ella has to wear hats to hide her hair.
